The Abuja National Mosque is not very far from the Sheraton, and provides a nice element to take some photos, especially during a sunrise on a Sunday morning. This first one was created using the 'illustration' setting on my camera and I thought it had a pleasing look about it.Note that many of my photos of Abuja include a hazy element to them. This is actually dust brought in by winds coming south from the Sahara -- it's called the Harmattan. This article talks about the Harmattan along with a number of other things that happen during this season.
